Qurbani

For millions of Muslims worldwide, Dhul Hijjah, a sacred month in the Islamic calendar, is marked with important occasions and acts of prayer.
Muslims commemorate Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. This joyful event honours Prophet Ibrahim’s (a.s) readiness to offer his son in sacrifice and places a focus on the virtues of gratitude, reflection, and charity.
Muslims across the globe consciously choose to give assistance to people who are less fortunate during Eid al-Adha every year.

The Zahra(s) Trust Canada assists you in conducting the religious tradition of Qurbani, helping people in need, with many packages to choose from.

Donate below by June 28, 2023 at 4:59pm EDT to ensure your Qurbani is delivered on Eid day.

Earthquake Aid

On Monday morning, 6th February 2023, a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Syria and southern Turkiye has now killed over tens of thousands, and displaced millions of people and their families; most of them left homeless with no means to access food, clean water, shelter or other basic necessities.

Many of these families have already suffered through conflict, disaster, and chronic poverty, and the effects of the earthquake will now leave thousands- if not millions- of families entirely and utterly destitute.

Our local field team is working tirelessly to ensure families receive urgent aid and assistance. And we need your support to continue providing relief to this earthquake’s victims.

Yemen Aid

Families in Yemen caught amid the crossfire of conflict are suffering at increasingly dire levels in what the UN describes as one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Estimates indicate a staggering 20.7 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance with 11.3 million of those being children. Others estimate these figures could even be as high as 24.3 million and 14.4 million respectively.

Famine is widespread. 2.3 million children are acutely malnourished and 400,000 are severely malnourished.

The students at Al-Muntadhir are supporting us raise funds in providing aid where most needed, and/or helping in building homes in Yemen.

Orphan Care

Millions of vulnerable children around the globe are in need of aid. At The Zahra(s) Trust Canada, we work on a community level to support those in need. This means that funds are used to support multiple children wherever and whenever possible.

The students at Al-Muntadhir are supporting this initiative, while we make sure that your contributions can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Your funds could be used in any of the following ways:

  1. Provide school meals and snacks to children
  2. Helping to support an orphan/needy child for a year
